Elmo L. Feltmeyer

Elmo L. Feltmeyer, 91, of Tamaroa, passed away at 4:15 A.M., Saturday, July 27, 2002 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
Elmo was retired from the State of Illinois Dept. of Transportation and a retired carpenter. He was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ at Pinckneyville and was a member of the Baldwin Masonic Lodge.
He was born March 17, 1911 at Pinckneyville, IL the son of Charley J. and Sophia (Schmdriede) Feltmeyer.
He married Ella Grace Preston on October 23, 1935 at Pinckneyville and she survives.
He is survived by his wife, three sister-in-laws-Alice Feltmeyer of St. Louis, Hilda Preston of Gibson City, Viola Nickens of Tamaroa, special nephews- William Heisner, Gary Nickens, Danny Wilson as well as several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers- George, Harmon, Christian and Henry Feltmeyer, sisters- Annie Hopp, Mary Heisner, Elizabeth Rinehardt, Tillie Offerman and Minnie Flood.
Funeral services were at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 29, 2002 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Raymond Baggott officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Searby Fuenral Home in Tamaroa.
Interment was in the Tamaroa Cemetery.
